Some years ago I was scheduled to hold service in Perth Ontario. It was a snowy Wednesday evening as as usual I was running a little late. Much to my dismay I
felt the vehicle swerve and sure enough I realized that I had a flat tire. Just as i got out of the car to inspect it a man pulled up and promptly offered to
change it. Quickly and efficiently he switched the flat with the spare and it no time the jack and flat tire were in the trunk. As I turned to thank him he was
gone. It was as if he had never been there. Rattled I got into the car and proceeded and quarter of a mile up the road where I came across a tanker truck that
had jack-knifed across the road and burst into flames. Had I not stopped to fix the flat I surely would have collided with the tanker. I did end up in Perth
and was on time for the service. I never did know who came out that night to fix my tire but I have an idea.
